Creating Waivers and Policies

Set up terms, policies, and consent forms for families to review and accept

Waivers and policies allow you to provide important information to families and collect their agreement before they participate in your organisation.

Class Manager includes two default policies you can edit:

  • Terms and Conditions
  • Privacy Policy

These are required and cannot be deleted.

You can also create additional waivers and policies, such as:

  • Photo and video consent forms
  • Social media policies
  • Code of conduct agreements
  • Medical waivers
  • Any other organisation-specific policies

Edit Your Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy

  1. Go to CompanyWaivers and Policies
  2. Select either:
    • Terms and Conditions
    • Privacy Policy
  3. Click Edit
  4. Enter or update the content
  5. Click Save

📝 These two policies are required and cannot be deleted.

Create Additional Waivers or Policies

  1. Go to CompanyWaivers and Policies
  2. Click Create
  3. Complete the required fields:
    • Name — the title families will see
    • Content — the waiver or policy text
  4. Click Create

The new waiver or policy will be added to your list.

Edit Existing Waivers

You can update any waiver or policy at any time.

  1. Open the waiver or policy
  2. Click Edit
  3. Make your changes
  4. Click Save

Existing Families and New Waivers

If you create a new waiver or policy, any existing families will be prompted to review and sign it the next time they log into the Family Portal.

📝 Editing an existing waiver will not prompt families to sign it again.

If you need families to review and accept updated terms or policies, create a new waiver instead of editing the existing one.

What Families Will See

Your waivers and policies will appear during registration so families can review them before joining your organisation.

If a family is invited to the Family Portal, they will be prompted to review and accept any required waivers and policies when they first log in.

This gives families an opportunity to read the information and provide their agreement before continuing.

Keeping your waivers and policies up to date helps ensure families have access to important information and can provide the necessary consent when joining your organisation.
