# Editing Classes

## Update the schedule and details of an existing class without changing past lessons

You can now edit existing classes in Class Manager, including classes that already have enrollments or have been running for several weeks.

### Edit a Class

1. Go to `Class Planner`.
2. Open the relevant season.
3. Select the **three-dot** menu on the class you want to edit.
4. Click `Actions`.
5. Select `Edit`.
6. Update the class details as needed.
7. Select `Save`.

You can update:

- **Class dates**
- **Start time**
- **Duration**
- **Categories**

### Changes to Class History

Changes apply **from the current lesson onwards**. Previous lessons keep the class information that was recorded at the time.

For example, if you change a class from Monday to Tuesday, previous lessons will remain recorded as Monday lessons, while future lessons will use the new Tuesday schedule.
