Managing Notification Settings (Company Portal)

Choose which notifications you'd like to receive in Class Manager.

Notification settings let you choose which updates you'd like to receive from Class Manager.

Depending on the notification type, you can receive notifications in the app, by email, or both.

You can choose how you receive certain notifications, including in the app, by email, or both, depending on the notification type. 

View Your Notifications

When you receive an app notification, it will appear in the Notifications panel.

To view your notifications:

  1. Click the bell icon next to your profile picture in the upper-right corner of Class Manager.
  2. Select a notification to view more details.

📝 If you have access to multiple accounts (for example, both a staff account and a family account), you may receive notifications for an account you're not currently viewing. Opening the notification will prompt you to switch to the correct account before displaying it. 

 📝 Notifications are available in both the Company Portal and the Family Portal, allowing users to manage their notification preferences from the account they're using. 

Manage Your Notification Settings

  1. Click your avatar in the upper-right corner of Class Manager.
  2. Select Notification Settings.
  3. Use the toggle beside each notification to turn it on or off.

You can configure the following notifications:

Notification Description Available via
Attendance reminders Reminds teachers to take attendance at the start of each lesson they teach.  App
Bookings summary Sends owners a daily summary of all class bookings made during the previous 24 hours. The summary is sent at 6:00 PM (local time). If no bookings were made during that period, no email is sent.  Email and App
Trial bookings Notifies you whenever a new trial booking is made for one of your classes.  Email and App
New chat Notifies you when you receive a new message in Chats. App

   4. Your changes are saved automatically.

That's it!

Your notification preferences take effect immediately. You can return to Notification Settings at any time to update which notifications you'd like to receive.
