Removing a Family Without Deleting Their Information

Archive a family while keeping their information and student enrolments

If a family is no longer active but you want to keep their information for future use, you can archive their family profile instead of deleting it.

Archiving keeps the family's information, as well as the enrolments and data for their students, so the family can be restored if they return.

To Archive Families

  1. Go to MembersFamilies.
  2. For a single family, click the three dots (...) beside the family and select Archive.

To archive multiple families, select the families, then click ActionsArchive.

The family will be marked as inactive and will no longer appear in your active family list. Their information and student enrolments will remain stored in your account.

To Restore Archived Families

    To restore a single family:

    1. Go to MembersFamilies.
    2. Use the Filter to show only archived families.
    3. For a single family, click the three dots (...) and select Restore.

To restore multiple families, select the families, then click ActionsRestore.

The selected families will be restored and can be managed as active families again.

    Deleting vs Archiving

Deleting permanently removes a family and their information.

Archiving keeps the family's information and student enrolments while marking the family as inactive. This is useful when a family has left but may return in the future.
